The Mechanical and Flavor Identity of Guildpact
Guildpact in Magic: The Gathering continues the Ravnica block’s focus on guilds by introducing the Orzhov Syndicate (white-black), Izzet League (blue-red), and Gruul Clans (red-green). The set expands multicolored and hybrid mana themes. It introduces mechanics such as haunt for Orzhov, replicate for Izzet, and bloodthirst for Gruul.
