In the central conflict of Onslaught, Kamahl relocates to the Krosan Forest as a druid, bringing the Mirari whose corrupting influence mutates the wildlife. His sister Jeska is transformed by Cabal magic into Phage the Untouchable, a deadly pit fighter. Grieving the loss of Nivea to Phage, illusionist Ixidor discovers reality-sculpting abilities and creates the angel Akroma to exact vengeance against the Cabal and Phage. This escalating struggle draws Kamahl into an uneasy alliance with the Cabal to counter Ixidor and Akroma's forces.
