MTG Spoilers Hub: What's New in Magic

2 min read Updated May 06, 2026
MTG spoilers happen fast. The Nerd Leagues Spoilers Hub at /spoilers shows you the next set being previewed, recent card reveals, upcoming releases, and Secret Lair drops - all on one page.

The Nerd Leagues Spoilers Hub at /spoilers is the front door to every new MTG card preview, upcoming set, and recent release the app tracks. No login required — the page is public and indexable, and it pulls from Scryfall so it stays current through preview season.

What the Spoilers Hub shows you

From top to bottom, the MTG Spoilers Hub stacks five sections:

  • Featured expansion hero — the next unreleased Standard expansion, with countdown and revealed-card count.
  • Spoilers In Progress — a card grid of newly revealed cards from whatever set is mid-preview.
  • Upcoming Releases — the next three expansions plus their companion sets (Commander, masterpiece, draft-innovation).
  • Recent Releases — the last three expansions and their companions.
  • Secret Lair Drops — recent drops, with a link through to the dedicated Secret Lair Hub.

A search bar sits in the hero — type a card or set name and autocomplete jumps you straight to the result.

The featured expansion countdown

The MTG spoilers featured expansion is whichever Standard expansion has the closest future release — the hub picks it automatically, so as one set ships, the next slides into the hero. Digital-only releases (Alchemy, Arena-exclusive products) are skipped.

When release is fewer than seven days away, the countdown breaks down to days, hours, and minutes. Outside that window it just counts days. The hero also shows how many cards from the set are already cached, plus three buttons: View Spoilers, Browse All Sets, and Precons.

Spoilers In Progress vs recent set spoilers

The card grid under the hero is the rolling reveal feed. While sets are mid-preview, the label reads Spoilers In Progress and pools cards from across them. Once a set has fully released and the showcase pivots to a single recent-release set, the label becomes the set code — FIN Spoilers, for example. Click any card to land on its full card page.

Upcoming and Recent Releases

Each release section groups three expansions with their companion products stacked alongside. You see the set name, type, code, card count, release date, and (for upcoming) a "X days" countdown badge. Click any tile to drop into that set's spoilers page.
